Marketing Assistant - Remote
We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to support brand and social media evaluation efforts within a large, matrixed marketing organization. This role focuses on maintaining evaluation documentation, supporting survey-based research, and assisting with reporting and presentation materials tied to social media performance. This is a short-term contract position running from January 5 through April 4, 2026. The position is fully remote, with the option for local Washington, DC area candidates to work onsite one or more days per week if desired. The role will support between 20 and 40 hours per week, depending on project needs. What You’ll DoAssist the Brand Social Media team with maintaining and updating social media channel evaluation documentationUpdate materials that support evaluation efforts, including online and email surveys, checklists, and reporting outputsSupport the preparation and refinement of PowerPoint presentations for internal stakeholdersAssist with internal research activities and documentationUpdate and manage Excel files used for analysis, tracking, and reportingCollect, organize, and validate data related to social media performance and engagementSupport research efforts and contribute to written summaries and reportsCollaborate with marketing and communications team members to ensure materials are accurate and current What You’ll BringBachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience1 to 3 years of experience in a marketing, communications, or social media–related roleAt least one year of experience using enterprise social media management tools such as Sprinklr, Hootsuite, or SproutExperience collecting, organizing, and analyzing data for reporting purposesUnderstanding of social media analytics and the ability to derive insights from dataStrong Microsoft Office skills, with particular strength in Excel and PowerPointClear written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detailExperience supporting brand or social media evaluation initiativesComfort working across multiple projects with shifting prioritiesPrior experience supporting surveys or research-driven marketing initiatives
