About The Role
The Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition at Aarons is a strategic leadership position based in Atlanta, GA, within our Galleria office, operating in a hybrid work environment. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing the company's talent acquisition strategies to meet current and future business needs. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven HR leader with extensive experience in talent acquisition, leadership pipeline development, and organizational effectiveness. This position requires a proactive approach to workforce planning, stakeholder management, and fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture. The Senior Manager will serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, influencing talent strategies that support organizational growth and operational excellence. Travel may be required to support various initiatives and maintain effective partnerships across regions.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent HR experience. Advanced certifications such as Master’s, PHR/SPHR, or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP are preferred. A minimum of five years of progressive HR recruiting experience is essential, with demonstrated expertise in leadership development, employee relations, and organizational planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of workforce planning, talent acquisition best practices, and change management. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills are crucial, along with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS and talent management systems are required, with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
Responsibilities
Strategic HR Recruiting Partnership & Planning
Partner with leadership to develop and execute comprehensive workforce and recruiting strategies aligned with business objectives.Manage and mitigate agreements with third-party vendors to ensure a robust candidate pipeline.Support organizational change initiatives and contribute to employee engagement efforts.Identify and proactively address staffing-related risks through consultation and collaboration.Collaborate with HR and business leaders to identify leadership capability gaps and recommend strategic development interventions.Advise on leadership frameworks, career pathing, and talent development initiatives aligned with organizational goals.Influence senior leadership on learning and development investments to support long-term growth.
Recruiting & Workforce Planning
Lead talent acquisition efforts to attract diverse, high-quality candidates across various roles.Partner with business units to ensure workforce planning aligns talent supply with organizational demand.
Culture, Engagement & Change Management
Support cultural transformation initiatives through leadership alignment and learning programs.Act as a change agent during organizational shifts, providing leadership development support to facilitate smooth transitions.Champion a culture of inclusion, accountability, and high performance across the organization.Drive employee engagement initiatives through targeted action planning and continuous improvement.Assist leaders in managing change effectively and fostering organizational adaptability.
Additional Requirements
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, or related field; advanced HR certifications preferred.Minimum of five years of progressive experience in HR recruiting roles.Proven experience in leadership development, employee relations, and organizational planning.
