Senior Product Designer UI/UX Designer

Elysium Consulting Group LLC is developing a new SaaS platform and is looking for the right candidate to fill the role of Senior UI/UX/Product Designer. You will work mostly independently to create mature, ready for development designs and layouts. The ideal candidate will have a strong graphic design and/or art background, a solid understanding of the software development process, have worked directly with developers, end users, product owners and have a general sense of business processes.

We are currently looking to expedite the completion of a part of the project and therefore the work is contract based over the next 6 months. For the right candidate, a full time role may become available upon completion of the contract. The work is 100% remote. We believe that the only way to create a product that lasts in the competitive space is to develop holistically. We take pride in a thorough analysis of our users to develop a product that maximizes the experience all the while developing a robust product. Design and engineering are iterative processes, and while many would choose a quick to market process, we are methodical in our approach of refinement, striving for a mature well thought out product that works from day 1. Responsibilities

Meet with the team and product owner to understand and develop new and existing flowsCreate component and design systemsBuild sitemaps, wireframes and prototypesIterate on designs until a very refined product is reachedCreate and present final design handoff to the development teamReview existing flows and find any potential problemsReview copy to ensure consistent language throughout the entire application (no new copy development required)Perform benchmarking studies to keep our system currentResearch user needs and wants

Qualifications

Strong communication, design and creative thinking skillsNative or bilingual in EnglishBachelor's degree in graphic design/art or equivalent experience. Preference will be given for those with an art/design background versus computer science/engineering background3+ year’s experience as a Senior UI/UX/Product Designer working at an agency or developing internal tools at a large corporation OR 5+ years as a UI/UX Product Designer with similar work experienceExperience in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator and ExcelHandled large and complex projects with multiple interconnected modules. Projects should have 100+ screens with a concise UI Design systemYou have completed large scale handoffs that is well documentedFamiliarity with UML and/or ERDMeticulous attention to detailAbility to work without the assistance of ai tools.
