Role Overview
We are looking for a Data Automation Engineer to ensure that our 200+ sales and customer success professionals operate with clarity, accuracy, and efficiency. You will be at the heart of our go-to-market machine. Your mission: make our revenue engine more predictable, more efficient, and more scalable. You will partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing leadership to provide insights, optimize processes, and ensure flawless execution across the funnel.
Key Responsibilities
Automation & Systems EngineeringBuild and maintain automated workflows across CRM, marketing, and customer success tools.Design and deploy integrations between systems (Close.com, PostHog, BigQuery, internal databases) using SQL, Python, and n8n/Zapier.Develop scalable data pipelines that keep metrics up-to-date and synchronized.
Data Analysis & Data ScienceDesign and execute advanced analyses to uncover insights such as:Distribution of leads by activation region or time-to-contact.Correlations between churn rate, engagement, and number of contacts.Sentiment analysis and renewal prediction for cohorts.Experimentation and regional performance comparisons.Matching valuation and transaction data (Carbone14 tracking).Collaborate with product, sales and customer success teams to interpret findings and run data-driven experiments. Dashboards & ReportingBuild precise and interactive dashboards for leadership visibility across sales and customer success performance.Maintain a single source of truth for key commercial KPIs (pipeline, churn, ARR, conversion, renewal, etc.).Ensure all dashboards are backed by accurate, version-controlled data pipelines. CRM & Process OptimizationOwn and evolve our CRM (Close.com) and connected tools.Identify friction points in workflows and eliminate manual work through automation.Maintain high data integrity across countries and teams.
What We’re Looking For
2–4 years of experience in Revenue Operations, Data Engineering, or Growth Operations.Strong coding and data manipulation skills (SQL required, TypeScript).Experience with data warehouses (BigQuery, PostgreSQL) and analytics tools (Looker Studio, Metabase, Tableau, etc.).Hands-on experience with CRM systems and automation tools (Close.com, n8n, Zapier, HubSpot, etc.).Analytical mindset and business curiosity — able to translate data into actionable business outcomes.Comfortable executing independently while collaborating closely with leadership.Fluency in English required; French, Spanish, or Italian are a plus.
