About The Role

The RSC Human Resources Coordinator, Finance and Payroll, plays a vital role in supporting the company's HR and payroll functions within the Distribution Center. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, maintaining employee data, and administering various HR-related activities. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of payroll systems, employment laws, and HR best practices. The coordinator will work closely with cross-functional teams to uphold compliance, promote a safe work environment, and contribute to the overall efficiency of HR operations.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least two years of experience in human resources and/or payroll functions. Strong knowledge of payroll processes, employment law, and HR practices is essential. Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required, with experience in Workday preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with a high level of confidentiality and attention to detail, are critical. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to build professional relationships, exhibit a customer service orientation, and show a genuine interest in HR practices and recruitment.

Responsibilities

Prepare, submit, and audit weekly payroll and incentive reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.Issue manual checks when necessary, and input new hire hours into the payroll system.Assign badge numbers and manage employee data entries, including new hires and terminations in Workday.Administer garnishments and manage communication data cards to ensure proper processing.Verify that premiums, shift differentials, and other pay components are correctly applied.Ensure proper management and payment of vacation, sick leave, and deferred holidays.Generate and analyze various reports such as labor hours, daily and weekly hours, time off, unmatched punches, and OT using Workday and other tools.Support safety initiatives by promoting a safe workplace and adhering to safety protocols.Participate actively in maintaining a positive safety culture within the facility.Collaborate with HR and payroll teams to streamline processes and improve service delivery.
