About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Business Partner to join our team at Sephora's San Francisco office. This full-time, regular position provides an exciting opportunity to influence talent strategies and organizational development within our Asset Protection team. As an HR Business Partner, you will serve as a strategic advisor, partnering with regional and district leaders to drive performance excellence, leadership growth, and a high-performing, inclusive culture. Your role will involve shaping employee experience initiatives, supporting talent management processes, and ensuring compliance across HR functions. The position offers flexibility with remote work options and requires travel of approximately 25-40% within the assigned market.
Qualifications
5+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3+ years as an HR Business Partner, preferably in retail or multi-unit environmentsPrevious experience supporting Asset Protection teams is a plusStrong expertise in performance management, succession planning, employee relations, compliance, and leave of absence processesProven ability to influence leadership and drive organizational changeExcellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR metrics and data-driven insightsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)HR certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP are advantageousAbility to travel 25-40% within the market and work in a hybrid environment (2-3 days in-office)Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills across all organizational levelsA passion for fostering an inclusive, engaging, and high-performance workplace culture

Partner with regional and district Asset Protection leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives and deliver measurable impactDrive and facilitate performance management processes that empower leaders and enhance team effectivenessLead talent review sessions, succession planning, and leadership coaching initiatives to develop future-ready teamsPromote an exceptional employee experience by cultivating an inclusive culture and implementing engagement strategies to improve retentionAnalyze HR data and trends to provide insights and recommend solutions that enhance organizational performanceEnsure compliance with employment laws, manage employee relations issues, and oversee investigations and leave/accommodation processesSupport organizational change initiatives and contribute to the development of HR policies and proceduresProvide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, fostering a positive work environment
