About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst specializing in Product to join our dynamic team at Weights & Biases, a division of CoreWeave. In this role, you will be embedded within product teams, playing a crucial role in analyzing user engagement, product performance, and feature effectiveness. Your insights will directly influence product strategy, development priorities, and user experience enhancements. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to explore complex datasets, run A/B experiments, and develop comprehensive reports and dashboards. Your ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights will enable the team to make informed decisions that drive product growth and customer satisfaction. Qualifications
Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis and manipulationExperience working with large, event-driven datasetsFamiliarity with analytical and statistical techniques including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and causal inferenceKnowledge of analytics concepts such as funnels, retention, cohort analysis, and experiment designExperience partnering with product managers and engineers to translate questions into structured analysesProven ability to write clean, maintainable code and create comprehensive documentationExperience with data modeling and transformation tools such as dbt and HexExperience with experimentation platforms and A/B testing methodologies is a plusAutonomous work ethic with proactive mindset for process improvementExcellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex insights to non-technical stakeholdersKnowledge of machine learning workflows and terminology is preferred
Responsibilities
Analyze user behavior and product engagement metrics to identify patterns and opportunities for growthDesign, implement, and evaluate A/B experiments to assess feature impact and optimize product featuresCreate and maintain dashboards, reports, and datasets that provide real-time insights to product teamsCollaborate with product managers and engineers to understand business questions and translate them into analytical solutionsDevelop scalable data pipelines supporting self-service analysis and reporting needsIdentify causal relationships within data to inform product development and strategic decisionsDocument analytical processes, methodologies, and findings clearly for cross-functional teamsContinuously seek opportunities to improve data quality, analysis efficiency, and reporting accuracyStay updated on industry best practices and emerging tools in data analysis and machine learning
